Use of AI tools

I use AI tools, such as large language models, in my daily work. Anything you send to me may therefore be read, summarised or otherwise processed with the help of such tools. This includes:

• emails and other messages,
• manuscripts sent to me for review,
• grant applications sent to me for assessment,
• other documents, data and attachments.

I remain responsible for everything I write, including reviews and assessments.

If you do not accept this, please do not contact me. In particular, please do not invite me to review a manuscript or a grant application if the rules of the journal or funding agency do not allow this kind of use of AI tools.
