Marco Salvatore

I am Bioinformaticians/Computational Biologist with strong interest in computational studies of  Protein Subcellular Localization, Alternative Splicing and Protein Function.

I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Biology at the University of L’Aquila in 2012.

From January 2013 to July 2014 I studied at the University of Bologna (Alma Mater) in which I accomplished the International Master Degree in Bioinformatics under the supervision of the Biocomputing Group.

From January 2014 to June 2014, I joined the A. Elofsson Group for a Master Thesis Project in which I developed a Database for Splice Isoform Analysis.

In September 2014 I started the PhD at the Department of Biochemistry  and Biophysics at Stockholm University in the A. Elofsson Group.
