The CBR/SBC sequence/structure Journal Club

Wednesdays 15:00 at CBR

This is the format of the journal club in 2007-2008

1. A list of interesting papers and links to them is submitted to the arnegrupp mailing list
2. One person presents one recent paper
3. The paper should be in the areas of sequence analysis, protein structure predictions, protein folding, membrane proteins, protein sorting, machine learning, bioinformatics and functional/comparative genomics. You should check the last issues of the following journals for interesting papers: Nature, Science, PNAS, J.Mol.Biol, Proteins, Protein Engineering, Bioinformatics and BMC: bioinformatics, Genome biology and Genome Research.
4. The meeting is chaired by the one who presented the journal club the last week
5. Every fourth or so journal club will be a longer presentation by one of the scientific sub.groups
